Ranveer Singh Hikes His Fee “Substantially”

If you are  producer desirous of signing  Ranveer Singh for a project, then you are  for a rude shock.

It’s now  going to cost much more to get Ranveer on bord  than it did a year ago. In 2018 the  star-actor  featured in two  of three biggest  blockbusters  of the year,  not to mention his blockbuster marriage  to Deepika Padukone.

Says a hotshot  producer , “Ranveer is riding a  never-before  high after the super-success  of Padmaavat and Simmba. His equity has shot up to  a much higher  level than  what it was  in 2017. Understandably he has  hiked his price,  he now charges much more than his contemporary Varun Dhawan.”

Until last year  Varun  was the highest paid actor  of  his generations. 2018 has changed that. Ranveer riding an unprecedented high. With the three Khan superstars facing a subdued year, there is every likelihood  Ranveer overtaking them.

His next release  Gully Boy in February will decide whether he  is  new No.1 or not.
