“Resident Playbook” Breakout Star Shin Si-ah Signs with Gong Yoo and Suzy’s Agency, Management SOOP

According to a SPOTV News report on May 22, Shin Si-ah is currently in discussions to sign an exclusive contract with the agency.

Shin Si-ah made headlines in 2022 when she was cast as the lead in director Park Hoon-jung’s film The Witch: Part 2 – The Other One, beating out 1,408 competitors for the role. Despite being a newcomer, her performance drew wide attention.

She recently made a strong impression playing the younger version of the character Jo-kak in The Old Woman With The Knife and portrayed Pyo Nam-kyeong in tvN’s popular drama Resident Playbook, which concluded on May 18.

Although her filmography is still relatively short, Shin has already made a notable impact with each role. Her potential move to a powerhouse agency has many curious about how her career will evolve from here.

Management SOOP is home to some of the biggest names in Korean entertainment, including Gong Yoo, Jeon Do-yeon, Gong Hyo-jin, Suzy, Jung Yu-mi, Kim Jae-wook, Seo Hyun-jin, Nam Ji-hyun, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Min-ju, and Lee Chung-ah.
