‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Judge to Co-Host ‘Botched’ Spin-Off

In 2014, Dr. Terry Bubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif joined forces with E! to launch “Botched,” a reality series that saw the doctors tackle “extreme plastic surgeries gone wrong.” The series has since spawned a number of spin-offs, including “Good Work” and “Botched by Nature.” On June 11, E! dropped the first trailer for “Plastic Surgery Rewind,” an all-new reality series from the creators of “Botched,” which is set to begin airing on Wednesday, July 11 at 10pm ET. 

In addition to revealing the cast for the upcoming series, which will see nine celebrities and social media influencers attend a “Rewind Retreat” to determine if they want to reverse their plastic surgeries, it also revealed the series’ co-hosts – plastic surgeon and “Botched” pioneer Dr. Terry Bubrow, and mainstay “RuPaul’s Drag Race” judge, Michelle Visage. 

Michelle Visage Plays Double Duty with All-New Hosting Gig

Though Michelle Visage joined the judging panel of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2011, she has worked in the world of show business for decades. Now 56, Visage rose to fame as a member of the dance-pop group Seduction in the late 1980s. 

Visage has since become a heavy-hitter in the world of reality television, appearing not only on “Drag Race” and several of its international spin-offs, but also British reality programs like “Celebrity Big Brother” and “Strictly Come Dancing.”

However, Visage’s appearance on “Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind” this July will not be the first time a “Drag Race” alum has appeared on the E! series. 

In 2015, “Drag Race” host RuPaul joined the “Botched” universe as one of the hosts of “Good Work,” a plastic surgery-themed talk show. “Drag Race” alums Trinity the Tuck and Detox similarly appeared on “Botched” in the past to address their silicone injections.

Alongside Dr. Bubrow and body image expert Dr. Spirit, Visage will oversee celebrities and social media influencers as they consider whether or not to reverse their plastic surgeries on their “Rewind Retreat.” The recently released trailer revealed that the cast of the forthcoming season will feature the likes of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Kim Zolciak and her daughter Brielle Biermann, as well as “Making the Band” Season 3 star Aubrey O’Day. 

“90 Day Fiance” alum Larissa Santos Lima will similarly join the “Rewind Retreat” alongside former Playboy model Kathy Brown and “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Jessica Dime. 

Rounding out the cast are social media influencers Sebastian Bails, Sophia Elgerabli and Alan McGarry.
