S S  Rajamouli On The  Impact  Of The Lockdown

Like  everyone else the maverick movie-making magician   S S Rajamouli is currently  confined  to his  home, somehow  trying to keep the  post-production work on his  new eagerly awaited  film RRR  going.

Speaking exclusively  to  this writer  from his home Rajamouli says, “We are in an unprecedented situation. I just want to appeal to people to take the government instructions seriously. Many are doing that. Few people are not taking it seriously which can cause serious damage to them and the whole society.”

Rajamouli  also wishes  the public to be more  thoughtful  towards  the  administrative  sector working  on the roads  to combat  the  virus.

Says Raja. “The Health workers and the police are our protection force,.They are   our  Army in this war against the Corona Virus. They are risking their lives everyday to keep our country safe. They seriously are in need of masks, sanitizers and personal protection equipments. Please make donations in whatever capacity you can. “

As far  the release  of his film RRR is concerned Raja says  the health of  the nation comes  first. “Of course  I am restless!  But this is an unprecedented situation. This is no time to keep worrying. I strongly believe every challenge that is thrown at you has advantages if you look carefully. I just stay alert and positive.”
