Saif: Taimur Will Be Spending His Birthday At His Grandfather’s

There were stories  doing the rounds  that  Taimur Ali Khan will be cutting  two cakes on his birthday on December 20.That is what  his doting mom Kareena Kapoor Khan told the media , as that is what Taimur demanded.

 Now it seems papa Saif who has decided to be  the  disciplinarian among the  two parents has put his foot down.

There will be only one cake ,and no birthday party as such.

Says Saif, “There will be a small cake and  a Christmas  party at his granddad(Randhir Kapoor)’s  house.”

Keeping birthday  plans for  his superstar-son on  a leash is an offshoot  of  the growing feeling that  Taimur’s over-exposure in the media and his premature superstardom would play havoc with his healthy upbringing.

 Taimur’s grandmother Sharmila Tagore says, “Of course we love Taimur a lot. But all this attention at this young age is not healthy.  Right now he’s too young  to  process it all. But when he becomes  mature enough to understand what was happening, what will he make  of  it all?”
