Sajid Nadiadwala-Salman Khan To Return To Kick In 2018

While speculation on the  sequel to the  2014 blockbuster Kick has been building up for two years now, it’s time to confirm that Kick 2 will finally happen in 2018.

Says a source close to Sajid, “He has finished writing 80 percent  of Kick 2. He has sounded Salman out about the script and Salman loves it. They’ve decided to work on Kick 2  from the middle of 2018.”

The same source goes on to inform that though Salman would play the same character in Kick 2 that he played in Kick, “all the other characters would be different.”

That means, no Nawazuddin,Randeep Hooda, no Jacqueline Fernandez.

Says the source, “Kick 2 would’ve happened in 2017 itself. But this year Saman is busy with Kabir Khan’s Tubelight and Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. Sajid has three releases lined up in 2017. First there’s Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, followed by Sabir Khan’s Baaghi 2 and Judwaa 2.So they’ve decided to work together in 2012. Whenever Kick is made only Sajid Nadidawala will direct with Salman in the lead.”
