Salman Khan Gets Into Khaki A Third Time

After  Dabangg 3 and  Radhe India’s Most Wanted Bhai, Salman  Khan returns  to his most beloved  colour khaki in  Mahesh Manjrekar’s Antim, the Hindi remake of  the  Marathi hit Mulshi Pattern.

How different can this cop’s film be when compared with  the  other two  films ?  Prabhudheva  had  told  this writer,  “Since I   directed  both  Dabangg  3  and  Radhe I knew exactly  what  to do to ensure Salman Sir’s characters  came across as  different  in both films. We can’t have  him play  similar  cops in two consecutive  films .”

What  efforts  would director Mahesh Manjrekar make to ensure Salman’s cop role in Antim  would  be very different from both?

Mahesh who is  a close friend of  Salman(Mahesh’s daughter  was  launched  by Salman in  Dabangg 3) has been  told to work on  the  cop’s role to  give it a  “third dimension” that  “extra edge” so that the  cop in Antim would be  nothing like Chulbul Pandey  and Radhe.

For one  the  cop in Antim is  a turbaned Sikh. Salman has played  a Sardarji before in Samir Karnik’s  Heroes   in 2008. Also, Antim is an extended  guest appearance for Salman  Khan the  focus is  on  his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.
