Salman Khan’s Rape Comment Triggers Outrage, Friend Says It Was Slip Of Tongue

Salman Khan is often accused of speaking before thinking. He did it again on Monday when at a media event he compared his wrestling scenes in Sultan to rape.

As quoted in a section of the media Salman said, “When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight.”

The National Commission Of Women has demanded an apology.

Not surprisingly  all the important names  in the film industry chose not to comment on the issue.

Bhai is beyond reproach in the entertainment industry.

One of Salman’s closest friends on condition of anonymity said, “Anyone who knows Salman even vaguely knows he never disrespects women on or off screen. In making a point during the promotion of Sultan about how grueling his wrestling regime was he  drew an unfortunate rape analogy.However  he immediately corrected himself.”

However the damage was done .And Salman’s father Salim Khan has stepped in to apologize for defend Salmanon Twitter.

Says a well-known writer-director, “It’s very sad that Salim Saab at 80-plus must keep jumping in to protect his son’s reputation.Sunil Dutt Saab spent his entire life defending protecting and fighting for his son Sanjay Dutt.”
