Sarah Jessica Parker is proving that true style never fades. The “Sex and the City“ icon, now 60, is embracing life’s next chapter with effortless grace. Fresh off her final turn as Carrie Bradshaw in the”And Just Like That” series finale, Parker was spotted in the Hamptons on Monday.

Dressed in a breezy floral dress with her natural gray hair slicked back in a bun, she looked every bit the fans have adored for decades: confident, radiant, and truly ICONIC.
SJP Embraces Gray With Elegance
This time, it wasn’t just her breezy floral dress and gray sweater that caught attention; it was her slicked-back bun, showing off her natural gray hair.
At a time when Hollywood often pressures women to cover up their silver strands, Parker’s decision to embrace hers is refreshing.
In classic Carrie Bradshaw style, the moment was undeniably “fabulous.”
Why She Embraces Her Natural Color
Photograph by Craig Blankenhorn/HBO MaxParker’s longtime colorist, Gina Gilbert of Serge Normant in New York, told Vogue that the actress intentionally let her grays shine through while filming.
“Whilst filming, she wanted the gray to blend in with her blonde,” Gilbert explained. “The contrast between the grey, blonde, and darker colour – it lends a really nice dimension.”
But Parker doesn’t see her hair as something brave or headline-worthy. After images of her gray strands went viral in 2022, she dismissed the commentary.
“It became months and months of conversation about how brave I am for having gray hair,” Parker told Allure.
“I was like, please please applaud someone else’s courage on something!”
Her Attitude Toward Aging & Appearance
Parker has been open about her mindset regarding aging in the spotlight. For her, it’s about living life on her own terms. “I just don’t understand why I’m supposed to be spending that much time thinking about it,” she said. “It’s not that I’m purposefully dismissive or delusional. But I don’t really ponder it.”
She added that while she does care about how she looks, she refuses to let it dominate her life. “There’s been far more peripheral chatter about my time spent on earth than I’ve spent thinking about it myself.”
SJP Enjoying A Break After ‘Explosive’ AJLT Finale
Craig Blankenhorn/HBO MaxAs the “And Just Like That” finale aired on HBO Max, Parker addressed the chatter surrounding the show, including so-called “hate watchers.” Speaking to The New York Times, she stayed composed.
“I don’t think I have the constitution to have spent a lot of time thinking about that,” Parker admitted. “We always worked incredibly hard to tell stories that were interesting or real. I guess I don’t really care. And the reason I don’t care is because it has been so enormously successful, and the connections it has made with audiences have been very meaningful.”
Craig Blankenhorn/HBO MaxHer now-viral quote, “I don’t really care,” has been embraced by fans as a classy clapback to critics, proving that SJP’s confidence is as timeless as her style.
