Scoop: Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra Reunited By Dibakar Bannerjee

Arjun Kapoor whose career faced a backslide after the failure of his home production Tevar is on a roll again after Half Girlfriend. Though the film got scathing reviews, it has already accrued more than Rs 50crores at the Indian boxoffice.

And now Arjun is rocking. His next release Mubaraka features him in a double role with his real-life uncle Anil Kapoor.Those who have seen rushes if this Anees Bazmi comedy swear it’s a laugh riot.

Now Dibakar Banerjee the director of the classic Khosla Ka Ghoslaand Love Sex & Dhokha has cast Arjun with his first leading ladyParineeti Chopra in  a film that will look at the man-woman relationship from a unique perspective.

Arjun started his career with  Ishaqzaade with Parineeti. The film was a wildly subvertive and passionate  take on Romeo & Juliet.Dibakar’s film promises to be  just as intense. Sources close to Dibakar say he has been longing to do a full-fledged love story  for  a very long time.

Though neither Arjun nor Parineeti is supposed to talk about it  Dibakar’s film, it is learnt from reliable sources,will cast the pair(buddies in real life)  in characters that they’ve never played before.

With her comeback film Meri Pyari Bindu seriously underperformingat the boxoffice, Dibakar’s film could be the saving grace in Parineeti’s career.
