She said, “Marty is due to give a speech,” adding that she expects it to be “epic.” She also joked that their fellow co-star Steve Martin might bring out his banjo for the occasion.

When Barrymore suggested that both Short and Martin could officiate the wedding, Gomez admitted she hadn’t considered that option before. The singer said, “Oh my gosh! I hadn’t even thought about that.”
