Seol In Ah shares insights about her character in Oh My Ghost Clients.
Oh My Ghost Clients is a fantasy comedy action drama about the labor attorney No Mu Jin (Jung Kyung Ho), who gains a supernatural ability to see ghosts. He sets out on a thrilling journey to resolve their labor disputes.
Seol In Ah takes on the role of Na Hee Joo, the brain of labor attorney No Mu Jin’s office, and also his sister-in-law. She joins forces with her brother-in-law and content creator Go Kyun Woo (Cha Hak Yeon) to resolve the grudges of those who died an unjust death at labor sites.
Oh My Ghost Clients tackles the heavy subject of labor issues, but adds a fantasy twist to it. Seol In Ah shared, “What drew me in was how the script’s message and the story aligned so well — it was clear and that was a compelling aspect,” and added, “Above all, the fact that it’s director Im Soon Rye’s first drama, and it was an opportunity to work with actors Jung Kyung Ho and Cha Hak Yeon, so there was no reason not to do it. I really wanted to work with them.”

Seol In Ah plays a kind of character who takes proactive action in response to the heart-wrenching stories of the ghosts. Talking about her character, she shared, “I’d describe her as a fearless leader who can’t stand injustice. When faced with a problem, she cleverly explores different solutions, but at the same time, she has this bold side to her that makes her charge forward without overthinking, which made me think, ‘This [character] would be fun to play.'”
She added, “I tried to bring out as much as I could from within myself and emphasize those qualities in a strong, impactful way.” She continued, “Since Hee Joo is such a fiery character who can’t stand frustrating situations, I worried, ‘What if she just comes across as overly aggressive?’ I think I tried to make sure that Hee Joo’s charm and the legitimacy of her actions would resonate with viewers, so they’d feel, ‘She’s smart and dependable.'”
