Over to the travelling adventuress. “I am on a 10-day road trip through Italy with my girl gang. I was in Toronto for a show of my play Broken Images. I missed my connection from Toronto to Zurich .I had to switch from Swissair to Air Canada ,take a business-class seat when I had a first- class ticket! In Zurich I had to buy a fresh business-class ticket to Rome but travelled economy because there were no seats! Had a 6-hr wait at Zurich airport whilst my friends were cooling their heels in Rome.”
But no temper tantrums with the airport staff, the indomitable spirit remains undefeated. “ Finally I arrived in Rome to find that my baggage has been misplaced! I have no clothes,no toiletries , no shoes.But we are finally in Positano and I am going to wear my friend Anuradha’s clothes. Sheher se duur nashe mein chuur picnic hai dilwalon ki!!!The adventure has begun.”
