Shah Rukh Has Taken The Zero Debacle Badly, Withdraw From Rakesh Sharma Bio-Pic

After  his flop  pairing with Anushka Sharma  in Imtiaz Ali’s super flop Jab Harry Met Sejal,Shah Rukh  has delivered another devastating dud with the same leading lady.

Which makes  his close friends wonder, why the same mistake again?

Says  a director-friend  with whom SRK has worked  more than once,  “When his onscreen partnership with Anushka didn’t work once why return  to it twice in a row?”

Apparently SRK  had expressed his reservations. But director Aanand Rai insisted  on Anushka.

Damage  done, one hears of some serious repair  job going on at Mannat(Shah Rukh Khan’s residence).

His  team  apparently sees  a pattern in  his recent setbacks.

“The recent flops are all directed  by  directors with whom Shah Rukh has worked for  the  first time:  Gauri Shinde  in DearZindagi which was an average  success, Maneesh Sharma in  Fan and Imtiaz Ali in  Jab Harry Met Sejal, both flops. In  the  light  of his failure  to  jell with first-time  directors Shah  Rukh’s  decision  to play astronaut Rakesh Sharma in  Sare Jahan  Se Achcha has been  revoked,” says  the well-informed  source.

The film  to be   directed  by Mahesh Mathai whom SRK has never worked with before. After  his string  of failure  with  untried directors  ,  King Khan doesn’t want to take  another risk at this crucial  juncture  of his career.

Says a  source  close to the development, “Shah Rukh has politely  opted out of   Sare Jahan Se Achcha. He has informed the produced Siddharth Roy Kapoor.Instead he  will now step into the safe zone with Farhan Akhtar. Yes, Shah Rukh is doingDon 3 directed by Farhan.”
