It can now be told. The second-half the new Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan was a major bone of contention between Shah Rukh Khan and his director Maneesh Sharma.
Says a source in the know, “The two constantly argued over the way the second-half of the film was handled. Eventually they shot the film entirely the way the director wanted. But Shah Rukh was not happy with the way the plot progressed in the second-half.”
There were also discussions over whether the song Jabra should be part of the film.
Says the source, “Both Shah Rukh and producer Aditya Chopra felt the song should be part of the film. But Maneesh put his foot down.”
