Shah Rukh To Ask Karan Johar For Diwali Slot For Raees?

Now that Shah Rukh Khan has very sensibly and gracefully decided to move out of the Eid release slot for his Raees,  efforts are on to seek and find a suitable Friday in the post-Eid weeks.

Sources claimed that producer Ritesh Sidhwani and Shah Rukh were looking at pitching Raees against either Rohit Dhawan’s Dhishoom on 29 July or Mohenjo Daro on 12 August.

However it is now learnt that  Raees won’t take on either of the two films , as they are seen to be  tough competition.

Instead Shah Rukh will go with Raees to his traditional release slot Diwali .

Says a source, “They are planning to release  Raees for Diwali. There are two films scheduled for Diwali Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Shah Rukh is likely to ask Karan Johar to move his film to another slot.”
