Nothing like first-love to brighten this Valentinian month. And from what we hear there is love happening on the sets of Karan Johar’s Dhadak which introduces Sridevi’s daughter Janhavi Kapoor with Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan.
The newcomers are quite understandably drawn very close to one another . Sources from the sets tell us how caring Ishaan is about not just Janhavi but her entire family.
“Ishaan is close to Jahnavi’s parents and her sister.Ishaan has already completed a film with the internationally renowned Iranian director Majid Majidi , so he’s senior to Janhavi. He helps her with her shots, patiently waits for her to memorize her lines and spends time with her in-between shots to help her prepare for the next shot. All of this reminds us of RanbirKapoor and Sonam Kapoor on the sets of their debut film Saawariya. Ranbir was as attentive and empathetic to Sonam as Ishaan is to Janhavi.
And the debutants’ fondness is not restricted to the sets. Recently when Ishaan was in Tehran and Istanbul promoting his first film Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds he shopped mainly for Jahhavi.
“And Ishaan shopped like there was no tomorrow. Most of the stuff he bought in Tehran and Istanbul were for Janhavi. No doubt the pair really cares for and looks out for one another,” says the source.
Let’s hope this tender and innocent relationship lasts beyond Dhadak and doesn’t fizzle out like Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt’s proximity which grew on the sets of another KaranJohar film(Student Of The Year
