Shakira appears to be currently dating British actor Lucien Laviscount, who is probably best known for his role as Emily Collins’ love interest, Alfie, on Netflix’s romance drama series, “Emily In Paris.”
Shakira, 48, and Laviscount, 32, appeared to hard-launch their relationship with a series of Instagram photos posted in March 2024 that showed the two entertainers sharing some smooches.
The pictures made Shakira and Laviscount’s fans go wild, with one writing, “Tan guapo que es ese actor,” calling Laviscount “so handsome” in Spanish.
Another called the “Emily In Paris” star “my husband.”
The photos were for the promotion of Shakira’s collaboration with Cardi B on the single “Puntería.”
Neither Shakira nor Laviscount has publicly spoken on the romance, but the British television star had lots of praise for the songstress in a May 2024 Us Weekly exclusive.
Laviscount said about the “Hips Don’t Lie” hitmaker, “Shakira is one of the most incredible artists to ever grace the planet. Her dedication to her craft, to her fans and her love for life is truly inspiring.” He went on to call the “Estoy Aquí” singer “one of the most beautiful, hardworking people I’ve ever met.”

The news of Shakira’s new romance came almost two years after the June 2022 announcement of her split with her long-time partner, former FC Barcelona player Gerard Piqué.
The pair was never married, but they shared a relationship for 12 years, according to the Economic Times. The couple welcomed their first son in 2013, and another boy two years later, per a People report.
People says Shakira explained why she never married the athlete by saying, “To tell you the truth, marriage scares me. I don’t want him to see me as the wife. I’d rather him see me as his girlfriend.”
The pair said in a 2022 statement, “We regret to confirm that we are separating.”
