Reports in tabloids claiming that Kapoor & Sons director Shakun Batra is next  making a film with SiddharthMalhotra and Alia Bhatt is nothing more than wild conjecture.

Firmly refuting the rumour  Shakun says, “No, it is not true at all. Mere gossip. I am currently writing my next script, and it would be unfair for me to talk about anyone’s  attachment to the project before the script is complete and shared with the actor officially.”

Shakun’s film has brought more acclaim  to Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions than anything from the banner. He now has a responsibility towards himself and towards the production house which has nurtured his talent,” says the source.
