The BJP’s most outspoken leader Shatrughan Sinha is perplexed puzzled and somewhat annoyed by Anurag Kashyap’s views on the Prime Minister’s Narendra Modi’s Pakistan policy.
On Sunday Kashyap tweeted, “Sir, you haven’t yet said sorry for your trip to meet the Pakistani PM. It was December 25th. Same time KJO was shooting ADHM.Why?”
Reacting swiftly and in his own inimitable way Shatrughan Sinha says, “Firstly, let me make it very clear that I am very fond of Anurag and his brother Abhinav. Having said that I’d also like to say that I am extremely proud of our Prime Minister, the dashing dynamic action hero Narendra Modiji, for all the effort that he has made in the past to bring peace between the two countries.Let’s not undermine our PM’s brave efforts just because at this moment those efforts seem to have come to a deadlock.Anurag and all those criticizing the PM for his supposedly soft attitude to Pakistan should remember, political dynamics change rapidly. Today’s friendly neighbour becomes tomorrow’s sworn enemy , and vice versa.”
Shatruji is also puzzled by Anurag’s efforts to connect Mr Modi’s unexpected surprise visit to Pakistan on December 25 with Karan Johar’a Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
“This doesn’t make any sense to me. Let’s not trivialize the PM’s historic visit which every country in the world had praised. I fail to understand the connection between the PM’s flash-visit to Pakistan and Karan Johar’s film. Nor do I understand the connection between Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap.”
