Shruti Haasan Paired With American Indian Actor Manu Narayan

From Danush in Tamil Nadu to  Manu Narayan in New York…as far as co-stars go, ShrutiHaasan seems to have made quite a long journey in her brief career.

Shruti who will be seen with her legendary Dad Kamal Haasan in her next tri-lingual film directed by Rajeev Kumar, would have the New York-based Indian-American actor Manu Narayan as her romantic co-star in the same film.

Manu shot to  fame in 2004 when he played the  lead in Adrew Llloyd Webber’s Bombay Dreams(featuring A R Rahman’s music).

Interestingly Manu and Shruti share a common passion for music and singing.

“Why Manu?” asks Kamal Haasan. “Because he  suits the character and looks well-matched with Shruti.”
