Siddharth Malhotra To Team Up With Imtiaz Ali

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is all set to take a break from his favourite actor. Imtiaz’s next won’t star Ranbir Kapoor. Instead the director who has faced thundering flops in recent times is teaming up with Siddharth Malhotra who is himself undergoing a lean phase in his career.

Apparently Imtiaz feels Malhotra is the perfect fit for his next project.

“Imtiaz has already narrated his script to Siddharth who loves it.They will announce the film soon,” says an informed source.

In fact Siddharth Malhotra who has so far played only urbane romantic characters is now looking at getting out of his comfort zone. In his next release , director Prashant Singh’s Jabariya Jodi Malhotra plays a kidnapped groom in Bihar.

While his role in Imtiaz ali’s film is not revealed it is pretty much certain that this would be another out-of-the-box attempt for Malhotra.
