EXCLUSIVE: Myriad Pictures is launching international sales ahead of the AFM on This Tempting Madness, starring Simone Ashley (Bridgerton) and Austin Stowell (NCIS: Origins).
Jennifer E. Montgomery’s directorial debut, inspired by a true story, is written by Andrew M. Davis and Montgomery.
The synopsis reads: “After a near-fatal fall, Mia (Ashley) awakens from a coma grievously injured, her memory fractured, and her husband Jake (Stowell) missing. As fragments of her past resurface, love, guilt, and fear blur together until she can no longer tell what’s real. Haunted by doubt and desire, Mia’s search for the truth leads her to question not only her past—but herself.”
The movie is a Smoke Jumper Films / Mango Monster production produced by Andrew M. Davis and Jennifer E. Montgomery, William Day Frank. Jessica Malanaphy and Marcei A. Brown produced for Catchlight Studios.
