When asked Sonali to share her experience, she said, ” I am really and thankful that Sudip asked me to play this part in Hope Aur Hum. A film that is really very close to my heart now. I was so thrilled to read the story because as an actor I have stopped checking out how much screen time I have or how much range of emotions I have. For me the most important thing for me was to get to work with Naseer Sir. I think would have probably played any role for that matter in this film. One was Naseer Sir and second was Ravi K Chandran, these two important reasons really drove me a long way. I have worked with Ravi on Dil Chahta Hai, and I was getting to work with him once again. He is one of the ace technicians a cinematographer we have in India today and you know it’s ultimately it is about with whom you get to work. I have been really selfish to be a part of Hope Aur Hum. Once you see the film you’ll know that after poster boys which came in September 2017, I felt like going for Hope And Hum in Hindi screen. It feels really proud to be a part of such wonderful project which has solid writing, good music, fantastic cinematography, a good set of actors and a very fine director who is very passionate about telling a story, so somewhere I could feel that this project had innocence, had hope. I desperately wanted to be a part of this it.”

The film is presented by Thumbnail Pictures in association with PVR Pictures and is set to release across cinemas on 11th May 2018.
