Sooraj Pancholi’s Second Film Shelved

The proposed action film featuring Ajay Devgn and Sooraj Pancholi to be directed by Remo d’Souza has apparently been shelved.

This puts a big question mark on Pancholi’s  career. It’s been over a year since the release of his debut film Hero. Not a single project materialized thereafter.Pancholi had his hopes pinned on the Remo–Devgn project. The two were to play brothers and had some intricate action sequences to perform . For this they were to train abroad .

But now the film  has been put on hold “indefinitely”, the reason being cited is lack of financial viability. Sources say the purported producers Ajay Devgn and T Series did not see the project as commercially viable, what with Sooraj’s debut being a disaster andRemo d’Souza’s last directorial venture The Flying Jatt nosediving at the boxoffice.

Remo , however, denies that the film is shelved. “We are making that film…In the first half of 2017.”
