tvN’s “Second Shot at Love” has unveiled new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!
“Second Shot at Love” is a rom-com that follows Han Geum Ju (Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung), a self-proclaimed “reasonable drinker” who unexpectedly reunites with her first love Seo Ui Jun (Gong Myoung)—a man who despises alcohol—and decides to take on the challenge of quitting drinking.

Previously, Kim Gwang Ok (Kim Sung Ryung) had grown exhausted by her family’s drinking habits. Her daughter Han Geum Ju, who infamously said she “loved alcohol more than her boyfriend,” still hasn’t changed even after a broken engagement. Her husband Han Jung Soo (Kim Sang Ho) once got drunk and accidentally cosigned a debt. And her eldest daughter Han Hyun Joo (Jo Yoon Hee) ended up going through both marriage and divorce after a one-night mistake. Seeing alcohol as the common root of all these problems, Gwang Ok declared a strict no-alcohol policy in the household.
This alcohol ban eventually extended beyond their home to the entire local market, making it virtually impossible for Geum Ju, Jung Soo, and Hyun Joo to even take a sip of alcohol within the town of Bocheon. Now, Gwang Ok has gone a step further by sending all three to a sobriety camp—her most extreme move yet.
In newly released stills, Geum Ju is inside a temple, dressed in a pink training uniform with her fist clenched in determination. Her confident gaze seems to say that giving up alcohol is no big deal if she puts her mind to it—raising expectations that maybe this time, she really will change.
The different attitudes of the three family members at the camp also draw attention. From their awkward posture while meditating side by side to walking neatly in line, there’s a touch of sincerity peeking through as they begin this unfamiliar journey—one that naturally makes viewers want to cheer them on.
