‘Southern Charm’ Star Shares Her Wedding Vision: ‘Warm Fall Evening Sunset’
“Southern Charm” star Olivia Flowers isn’t close to deciding where her wedding venue will be, but she has a setting in mind.
In the Spring/Summer issue of Sophisticated Weddings, per People, Flowers, who is engaged to Alex Williams, admitted that the guest list and location haven’t yet been finalized due to her indecisiveness.
However, after her photo shoot with the magazine at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York, the reality star said, “I always thought I’d get married in one of these places, but once we discussed the possibility of doing a destination wedding, all hell broke loose because there were just too many options to explore. I was quite literally all over the map.”
Flowers continued, “I think my favorite part [of Oheka] is that I would definitely pull inspo from the gardens. The pristine landscape, greenery, and architecture is exactly what we want for our reception.”
“I see the reception outside, warm fall evening sunset, surrounded by green. Whether that’s a golf course or a beautiful fountain garden like the one here at Oheka, that’s my vision,” she told Sophisticated Weddings.
Flowers Reveals if ‘Southern Charm’ Castmates Will Be Invited to Her Wedding
Flowers made her “Southern Charm” debut in season 8 and exited the show after season 9. While she hasn’t finalized her wedding guest list yet, she told Us Weekly in December 2024 that her former castmates might get an invite.
“It depends where we do it. If we’re gonna do it more local, of course [some will be invited]. But if we do destination, it’ll probably be a little bit more intimate,” she said.
Flowers’ last season was fraught with drama after she found out that her close friend Taylor Ann Green had kissed her ex, Austen Kroll.
Although the two have since cleared the air, they’re no longer in each other’s circle. “We haven’t been around each other really much,” Flowers shared with Us Weekly.
Flowers Met Her Fiancé at a Wedding
In a November 2023 interview with Nick Viall, Flowers revealed that she met Williams when they were both guests at a wedding.
“I was my dad’s date to a wedding, and he was late to it. He had a business meeting … so I’m walking into this wedding by myself late and [Williams] was the usher,” she said.
Flowers added, “And he was like, ‘Can I walk you down the aisle?’ I was like, ‘It’s a little soon, but okay.’”
The Bravo star celebrated her first meeting with Williams in a May 13, 2024, Instagram post. “After arriving late to a wedding (& tripping up the church stairs) I was met by a handsome usher to take me to my seat.”
She continued, “Later, that same usher asked my date (my dad) if he could dance with me… A year later, and we’re still dancing (and tripping up stairs). Cheers to stage 5 clinging.”
