Sridevi Was To Be In  Mr India 2 or English Vinglish 2

The performing diva Sridevi who Passed away suddenly was  spoilt for choices in 2018.

Both husband Boney Kapoor and family friend R Balki wanted to produce sequels to Sridevi’s super-successful starrers. While Boney was keen to  produce Mr India 2 , the sequel to the  cult 1987 film directed  by Shekhar Kapoor , Balki was  all set to start English Vinglish 2, the sequel to Sridevi’s compelling  2012 film  aabout a middleclass housewife who learns  to speak English .

Says  a well-informed  source, “Both the projects were Sridevi’s for  the taking.All she had to do was  make up her  mind which one she wanted to do first. Alas, God had  other plans.”
