Electronic Arts’ latest Star Wars venture has been revealed as Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player turn-based tactics game.
The announcement came via the official Star Wars website, and has finally shed light on the debut game from Bit Reactor, a studio formed under the purview of Greg Foertsch, who previously worked on Firaxis Games’ XCOM series. Star Wars Zero Company is being developed in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment, whose pedigree in the franchise includes Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and its sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Star Wars is a multimedia franchise that started in 1977 by creator George Lucas. After the release of Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope (originally just titled Star Wars), the franchise quickly exploded, spawning multiple sequels, prequels, TV shows, video games, comics, and much more. After Disney acquired the rights to the franchise, they quickly expanded the universe on Disney+, starting with The Mandalorian.
