The Duffer Brothers have confirmed to SFX that Holly will be a “centerpiece” in Stranger Things Season 5 (via GamesRadar), and they’ve brought in horror veteran Nell Fisher to portray the now-older Wheeler sibling.
After four seasons of watching her brother and sister battle supernatural threats, Holly’s finally getting her turn in the spotlight. With Vecna still lurking and Hawkins more dangerous than ever, the youngest Wheeler might be stepping into the most perilous role yet.

Holly has mostly been that cute kid in the background while Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Nancy (Natalia Dyer) saved Hawkins.
