Sul Kyung Gu and Hong Kyung resort to every means possible to save a hijacked plane in 'Good News'

Netflix unveils a new teaser for its upcoming K-movie Good News.

Set in 1970, Good News depicts the suspicious operation carried out by a group of people who aim to land a hijacked plane by any means necessary.

The teaser trailer depicts the operation of a group of people who must re-hijack a hijacked passenger plane from Japan, headed toward Pyongyang, from the ground. In this life-threatening crisis, Park Sang Hyun (Ryu Seung Beom), the director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, orders the problem solver (Sul Kyung Gu) to solve the crisis. Meanwhile, Seo Go Myeong (Hong Kyung), an elite Air Force lieutenant, proposes a clever yet dangerous idea by asking, “Then… May I say this is North Korea?” and experiences internal conflict during his mission.

On the other hand, the problem solver designs and directs the massive-scale operation to disguise Gimpo as Pyongyang. The sight of him, Seo Go Myeong, Park Sang Hyeon, and Japan’s Vice Minister of Transportation and Political Affairs Shin Ichi (Yamada Takayuki) — all gathered to solve the problem — leaves one wondering if they will succeed in their mission.

Good News is premiering on October 17, only on Netflix. Check out the teaser.
