‘Summer House’ Star Hints Her Time on the Show May End Soon

Paige DeSorbo is unsure how many more summers she has left in the ”Summer House.”
In an interview with Glamour, the Bravo TV personality admitted that her time on the show could be winding down. “There’s an end date for me at some point,” DeSorbo, 32, said of her run on the Bravo reality show. “With the lifestyle of ‘Summer House’ specifically, I’m probably not fitting into the original show idea anymore.”
“Summer House” is set in a weekend Hamptons party house. DeSorbo first joined the show for filming in the summer of 2018 when she was just 25 years old.
“Whenever I see a comment that’s like, ‘She’s a little too old to be on this,’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, I kind of am,’” DeSorbo admitted. “I’m probably not as fun to party with as a 25-year-old, and I get that. I would stay on reality TV, but it’s only fun and real if it’s your lifestyle, and as I get older, I am straying away more and more from partying every weekend. … I was actually nervous for this season to come out because I felt like I didn’t do anything this summer because I was so tired from working.”
Paige DeSorbo Isn’t Sure She’s a Good Fit For ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’
There has been buzz that DeSorbo could be in line to join the cast of “The Real Housewives of New York City.” But the “Giggly Squad” host downplayed the chances in the Glamour interview.
“‘Housewives’ is such an established franchise, I think it would be very hard for me to assimilate,” she shared. “I would never say never, but it’s not something I’m working toward.”
During a March episode of Sirius XM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” Bravo host Andy Cohen was asked about rumors that DeSorbo and fellow “Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard could be in consideration to move to the RHONY franchise.
“You know, it’s interesting,” Cohen replied. “First of all, I don’t see Paige at this moment in her life saying ‘That’s my next step.’ And Lindsay, I think has been kind of posting about it, and I think I can’t say anything more about it.”
“I did bring one of them up in a meeting,” Cohen teased.
Lindsay Hubbard’s ‘Summer House’ Status Could Change This Summer
Hubbard, 38, welcomed her first baby with boyfriend Turner Kufe in December 2024. She has admitted that her new life as a mom would not be conducive to the Hampton’s house share in 2025.
Hubbard told Entertainment Tonight that she “obviously” won’t bring her baby to the “Summer House,” but added, “We have, the last couple of years we’ve filmed a lot in the city.”
“So, you know, not me maybe living in the house with my eight-month-old daughter, but I do think that, you know, we leave a lot of room open for someone who’s in a transitional point in their life,” she teased.
Hubbard also told Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap,” that she’s open to “any and all” opportunities for reality TV.
