Sushmita Sen Missed The Chance To Work With Bhansali

The first time when  Sushmita Sen missed the opportunity  to work with Sanjay Leela  Bhansali  was when he  wanted to cast her as  Chandramukhi  in Devdas.

The  original casting was  Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen, Miss World and Miss Universe as  Paro and Chandramukhi.  Then  the  cast changed overnight and  apparently  Sushmita  held no  grudges.

After all  these years she was all set to finally work with Bhansali again, this time courtesy  Salman Khan in  the ill-fated  Insha Allah.

Says  an informed source, “There was a  guest  appearance of Salman Khan’s  ex-girlfriend. Salman recommended Sushmita’s name  and  Bhansali  was happy to meet her. They met and  everything was in place. But then  Insha Allah never happened. And  there went her last opportunity to work with Bhansali.”
