Taapsee Pannu Speaks On Woh Ladki Hai Kahan

For the first time Taapsee Pannu will play a cop in  director Arshad Syed’s Woh Ladki Hai Kahan. She teams  up with Pratik Gandhi for the  first time.

When  I asked her about the film, Taapsee Pannu  whose  last release was  the sports film Rashmi Rocket, described Woh Ladki Hai Kahan as a ‘Dramedy’

Says Taapsee Pannu, “It’s  a  mix of  comedy and drama. I am playing IPS officer for the first time. Have passed on so many scripts that have come my way where I’ve been asked to play a cop coz I didn’t want to choose a regular story and what’s expected out of a cop in that story.”

She’s also excited  about her co-star Pratik  Gandhi’s role in  the film. “He  has  a tailormade role . This is kind of comedy I would love to watch with my friends and family both. One of those scripts I instantly said yes to after first narration which happened on Zoom during first lockdown.”
