Tabu and me are best buddies: Manoj Bajpayee
Recently, the makers of Missing launched the official trailer of their upcoming psychological thriller based on the theme ‘Nothing is what it seems’ on social media and it got a great response from B – Town as well as the audiences.
The on-screen chemistry of the film’s lead pair Manoj Bajpayee and Tabu created huge amounts of buzz. The trailer started trending and everyone was raving about both their performances. Their effortless chemistry has excited the audience to witness the couple on screen in Missing after 18 long years.
In the film, the actors play the roles of Mr. and Mrs. Dubey who are searching for their 3-year-old daughter, Titli.
When filming a particularly intimate scene in the film, the actors helped each other navigate their initial discomfort and made the scene look authentic. Though both the National Award winning actors Manoj Bajpayee and Tabu may not have worked for the longest of time but because they are best friends off screen, they pulled off the difficult scene with ease.
Sharing his bonding with Tabu, Manoj says, “Tabu and me are best buddies and we know each other for 20 years now. So naturally it’s an amazing feeling to work with a friend like Tabu who is also a great actor. We have an extraordinary connectivity and both of us share a mutual bond of understanding and respect. Missing is a special film for Tabu and me as it reunites us on the silver screen after 18 years”.
Missing, scheduled to release on April 6, 2018, is written & directed by Mukul Abhyankar and presented by Abundantia Entertainment and Neeraj Pandey in association with Sri Adhikari Brothers, Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Manoj Bajpayee Productions.
