2020’s most unwelcome guest the Covid-19 has barged into another home. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has tested positive and admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad.
While Ms Bhatia remained unavailable for comment, a colleague of hers confirmed, “Yes she has contracted the virus. She is doing okay. Her parents were down with Covid a month ago when she had tested negative. Now it’s her turn.”
Ms Bhatia was shooting for her first webseries The November’s Story in Hyderabad when she felt the symptoms and got herself tested. Friends say she has shifted to a hospital for her parent’s safety.
On her career-front her Tamil film That is Mahalaxmi ( a remake of Ranaut’s Queen) and her only Hindi assignment Bole Chudiya have both been postponed indefinitely.
