The Bhool Bhulaiya 2 Teaser Is  Out, And  It’s A Paisa-Wasool

The new teaser of  Bhool Bhulaiya 2 reminds us that the  season of déjà vu is upon us. Just when KGF 2  comes  with a sequel heavily  reminiscent  of  the  first film  in mood  temper and atmosphere,  the sequel  to Bhool Bhulaiya with its  déjà vu swagger  ambles into sight

And it’s Akshay Kumar re-invented as Karti Aaryan. The same cocky swag ,multipled  by two or three. Kartik’s comic  aptitude is  fully  keyed  into the theme  of a haveli  haunted by  a beautiful ghost singing  in Shreya Ghosal’s voice.

Kartik Aryan’s exorcist  act is buttressed  by  Rajpal Yadav’s deadpan burlesque. He  had  played  the same droll disciple’s role to Akshay  Kumar in the original  Bhool Bhulaiya film in 2007. Bhool Bhulaiya  2 opening  on 20 May, 2022, sees Kartik Aaryan take the  comedy-horror franchise forward.

It’s time  for  a  change. And  Kartik Aaryan IS  the change.

Director Anees Bazmi who replaces  Priyadarshan in  the sequel  has worked with  Akshay in  several film.

Comparing him  to Kartik , Anees observes, “They  both have   admirable comic timing. But otherwise Akshay and Kartik are different actors.”
