Netflix’s upcoming variety show “The Devil’s Plan: Death Room” pits 14 players against each other, all risking everything to win and survive!

Helmed by PD Jung Jong Yeon of “The Genius,” “The Great Escape,” and “Girls’ High School Mystery Class,” “The Devil’s Plan” is a high-stakes survival game show where contestants from diverse backgrounds live together for seven days and compete in intense competition and mind-bending games to claim the title of the ultimate brain.

The newly revamped and more dangerous game zone, the living quarters where survival strategies unfold, and the diverse facial expressions of the contestants captured within these settings suggest the nerve-wracking psychological warfare to come. The introduction of the prison zone, which is said to carry a hierarchical significance in contrast to the living quarters, adds to the excitement.

The newly released stills offer a glimpse of the 14 contestants who excel in their respective fields. The lineup includes Lee Se Dol, Justin H. Min, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Kang Ji Young, Yoon So Hee, Seven High, Lee Seung Hyun, Jung Hyun Gyu, Choi Hyun Joon, Chuu, Kim Ha Rin, Park Sang Yeon, Son Eun Yoo, and Tino.

Producer Jung Jong Yeon remarked, “For the new season, the diversity of the characters was the primary casting criterion,” and further emphasized, “Ultimately, the final goal was to find completely new characters.”

“The Devil’s Plan: Death Room” is set to premiere on May 6 with the first four episodes. Check out a teaser here!
