Fans of Jane Seymour‘s Irish mystery series seem to be pretty “wild” about it, because Harry Wild has officially been renewed for a Season 5. The announcement was made at 2025 ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas in conversation with Seymour, who stars as the titular character, Harry Wild, and serves as an executive producer. The Season 4 finale of the series airs June 2, with a special slated for later this year in December. It was also revealed that production on the fifth season will begin later this year. The series stars Seymour, Rohan Nedd, and Kevin J. Ryan. It follows Harry, a retired English professor who ends up embroiled in a murder mystery. After finding out she’s got quite the knack for it, she, along with Fergus (Nedd) begin a detective agency to solve mysteries (and annoy Harry’s son, Charlie (Ryan)).
During the announcement, Seymour expressed:
“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to bring Harry Wild to life foranother season and am excited for her to solve a new batch of layered mysteries deeply rooted in literature with my castmates. It has been so rewarding to work with everyone on this production and I’m thrilled to embark on another season with my Acorn TV family.”
We Already Know What ‘Harry Wild’ Season 5 Will Be About
According to Acorn TV, Season 5 of Harry Wild will Harry’s “most sensational and thrilling ride yet.” During the fifth season, fans will get to see murder mysteries wrapped up within the world of whiskey making as well as musical theatre and tattoos? There’s also, according to Acorn TV, going to be a gang of burglars and while that may not seem out of the ordinary for a crime drama, the gang of burglars are middle-aged women. It won’t be all tongue-in-cheek Irish mystery, as Acorn TV reveals that there will also be a murder that hits close to home. The current season of Harry Wild continues to find success with it ranking among Acorn TV’s Top 10 most watched seasons of all time. Acorn TV says that the Irish mystery series has also seen viewership up double-digits from Season 3.
