The Most Disastrous Gameplay in ‘Big Brother’ History

Published

on

While “Big Brother” is as much of a game of wits as it is physicality, some players simply stand out as bad players.

What makes a houseguest bad is not just their gameplay but also how they manage the house around themselves. Many fall due to not having good social games. Others trip when it comes to keeping alliances in tact.

No matter the case, longtime fans know a bad player when they see one. Below are a selection of “Big Brother’s” worst players.

Lawon – BB13

Can a player be blamed on their gameplay if the show is still newish? Not really. “Big Brother” was a phenomenon by season 13 so Lawon should’ve known he was not playing a good game. Not only did he blow up his entire alliance, he wanted to be evicted because he believed he could come back using the “Battle Back” power. Whoops. Not only did he lose the competition on Day 35, he lost to Brendon who was chosen by America to come back in the first place.

Jenn – BB14

Just like in life, houseguests in “Big Brother” can skate by without doing much at all. Jenn was put on the block, won a competition and formed an alliance with Danielle. But she didn’t do anything extraordinary gameplay-wise, which is a big bore to watch at home. Viewers found her bland overall. At least her hair was cool.

Raven – BB19

Why lie when you’re on a show that is not only broadcast worldwide but often live? Raven told countless tales of life outside of the house. It’s a shame none of it was true. Of the many lies she told, she said she was suffering from gastroparesis. She set up a GoFundMe prior to joining the show and even asked other houseguests for money. Either way, others found her annoying during her run on the show.

Frenchie – BB23

He was the opposite of the stereotype he portrayed. He allied himself with the people of color in the house. He as nice and a goof. But, in the end, Frenchie was put on the block due to his lack of actual gameplay. He seemed like a fan who loved watching the show but didn’t completely understand how it worked.

Derek F. – BB23

There are many runner-ups in the history of “Big Brother” that were clearly lacking when it came to their ability to actually win. There is not a single one that stacks up to Derek F. who seemed miscast. He made comments about women that were not very good. He couldn’t keep a secret if it was told to him. His social game was lacking. And he never, ever won a competition. To make matters worse, his postseason comments praising his own gameplay were false.
