‘The Valley’ Star Reveals She Has a Surprising Connection to Quentin Tarantino
Michelle Saniei had to fend off rumors during “The Valley” season 1 that she was having an inappropriate relationship with a famous director, and she revealed the person in question was Quentin Tarantino.
During the March 31 episode of her podcast, “The Pursuit of Sassiness,” she cleared up the rumors by stating that their interaction was completely platonic.
She spoke about living across the street from the Chateau Marmont and bumping into a lot of celebrities, including Tarantino.
“One day, I was hanging out there and he’s actually sitting next to me. I don’t really quite know who he is, but I see that everybody’s looking at him and wanting to talk to him, and I’m not paying any attention,” she told her boyfriend Aaron Nosler.
Saniei recalled spending the day at the Hollywood hotel bar with her friends but ended up alone when they left.
“30 minutes later, we somehow start having a conversation because [Tarantino’s] literally next to me. And we had a great conversation,” the reality star said.
“He’s a great friend, he’s a great person, he has a lovely wife and child,” Saniei added.
Saniei revealed that she and Tarantino bonded over real estate and having kids who were similar in age. “To this day, he’s a friend of mine. I actually emailed him here and there. I even told him about our podcast, so maybe one day I’ll have him on,” she shared.
Saniei Defended Herself Against Rumors She Was Seeing Tarantino
Saniei’s marriage to Jesse Lally came into question when “The Valley” cast discussed her talking to a famous director during season 1.
However, she told Bravo in May 2024, “There were a lot of actors and actresses and directors, and just wealthy individuals that I meet on a constant basis. And I think that was very twisted in a lot of ways.”
At the time, Saniei didn’t name Tarantino and said, “It’s work, so I want to keep that private.”
The reality star had also found love with Nosler and told the outlet, “We instantly clicked, and we like the same things, so it’s just been really positive. I’m super happy with him. Him and I get along really, really well.”
Saniei Shared How She and Nosler Met
During a May 2024 Instagram Live, Saniei revealed that she has her daughter Isabella Lally to thank for her relationship with Nosler.
She described being at a cafe with Isabella and not noticing that her daughter waved to Nosler. “And then it must’ve been maybe a couple of days or a week later, he saw us again, and then it was kind of the same thing. So, Isabella was actually the introduction, and it was just very natural,” she recalled.
“It’s probably the cutest love story of all time. I mean, Isabella was waving to me, which, knowing Isabella, is rare to see her just randomly pick somebody across the room and just start waving,” Nosler said.
The pair revealed that things didn’t heat up until months later when Saniei told Nosler she and Jesse Lally were separated.
Nosler then asked Saniei on a date, and the reality star told her viewers, “So it was just very organic and refreshing to meet somebody this way. And it’s been amazing ever since.”
