There is officially yet another reason to go back and play The Game Awards‘ 2024 Game of the Year, which has launched new content that will give players something to enjoy, and it’s completely free if you already own the game. This will come as a welcome surprise to fans of the extremely original and beloved puzzle-platformer, and it’s incredible that we’re still getting new content this long after the game’s release.
In a PlayStation blog post early in June, they announced five new Vicious Void Galaxy levels for Astro Bot, as well as brand-new Special Bots and even a new Astro Bot DualSense controller coming out later in the year. Each level promises to be extremely tough and put your Astro Bot skills to the ultimate test. If you’ve been waiting patiently for these new levels since the June announcement, you’ll be happy to know they went live earlier today.

With the new update, five new Vicious Void Galaxy levels are available to play as of today, July 10, 2025. These include the Twin-Frog Trouble, Suck It Up, Handhold Havoc, High Inflation, and one more level that you’ll have to go in and discover for yourself. Each level promises to contain some of the most challenging puzzles in the game to date, and they will put your Astro Bot skills to the ultimate test.
