Ravikanth Perepu’s 2016 Telugu blockbuster Kshanam about a NRI technocrat who returns home to find his ex-girlfriend’s kidnapped daughter,is now in Hindi.
Entitled in Hindi as Baaghi 2, the rights for the remake were bought early last year by producer SajidNadiadwala who was keen to adapt the film into Hindi to suit his pal Salman Khan’s image. However Salmancouldn’t do the film for date reasons and now young Tiger Shroff has stepped into Salman’s shoes.
The remake is being directed by choreographer Ahmed Khan.
Interestingly Tiger and his co-star Disha Patani who are said to be a real-life couple play an estranged couple inBaaghi 2.
“In Baaghi 2 Disha has left Tiger and married someone else and even has a child,” says a source.
While the remake will be similar in content to the original what Adivi Shesh couldn’t do in Kshanam and Tiger will in plenty is dance.
Choreographer-director Ahmed Khan promises to give Tiger some of the meanest dancefloor moves ever.
