In the post’s caption, the “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” star quipped, “Quitting acting. Becoming an influencer.” Though a handful of his followers played along, urging him to reconsider, most glossed right over what he said and filled Hynes’ comment section with hilarious reactions to how he looked.
Hallmark Channel Adorably Urges Tyler Hynes Not to Quit His Day Job
Among the thousands of likes and responses to Hynes’ post, those who adorably urged Hynes to reconsider leaving acting behind included his primary employer, Hallmark Channel. The network’s social media team commented, “We say this with love: don’t quit your day job! 💜”
But most people responded to Hynes’ swoon-worthy photos with tongue-in-cheek comments about his chiseled physique, including his “Groomsmen” co-star — and fellow GLAAD Award winner — Jonathan Bennett, who quipped, “Dat back doh.”
Photographer Joshua Shultz, a friend of Hynes and collaborator on his 2024 photo book, joked, “I am influenced.”

It Had Been 4 Months Since Fans Caught a Glimpse of Tyler Hynes Shirtless
Hynes’ latest pics will certainly be welcome content for “Hynies” who are part of fan groups dedicated to the actor. In fact, the Tyler Hynes Shirtless Instagram account, which boasts nearly 4,000 followers, quickly reposted his pics on April 1.
“I can think of nothing more beautiful than to run into on a #tylertuesday at the base of the #hollywood sign than these beauties,” wrote the account’s admin. “thanks for sharing, @tyler_hynes”
Hynes occasionally sends his fans’ hearts racing by posting steamy, shirtless photos — often taken by Shultz. But it had been more than four months since the last one graced his feed.
That gem was a group photo shared as a joint post by Bennett, featuring him and Hynes with other shirtless Hallmark hunks including B.J. Britt, Kristoffer Polaha, and Brendan Penny during one of the Hallmark Christmas Cruises in November.
Hynes has not revealed yet what his first project of 2025 will be after an incredibly busy 2024, but it’s clear the Hynies are eagerly waiting for word on his next move, with or without his shirt.
