Udaan to witness a 10 year leap
After keeping the audience enthralled for 3 years, COLORS’ Udaan will take a leap of ten years to make the storyline more interesting. Recently the show witnessed a lot of hurdles in Chakor (Meera Deosthale) and Raghav’s (Vijayendra Kumeria) lives and how they fought the storm with courage. With a major twist all set to unveil itself in the upcoming episodes, the show will now trace the journey of Chakor’s duaghter Anjor who has now transformed into Anjie. The young and bubby, Tanya Sharma will be seen playing the role of a grown up Anjor. Joining her will be the charming Gaurav Sareen who will essay the role of Sameer who is madly in love with Anjor.
In the upcoming track viewers will witness, how Anjor has grown up to be a spoilt brat and doesn’t believe in love because of her mother Chakor as Anjor feels that she cheated on her father. On the other hand, while Anjor tries to run away from love, she happens to come across Sameer in her college who is head over heals for her. While he tries to woo her, Anjor decides to take him for a toss only to make him realize that love is a waste of time.
Talking about her role Tanya Sharma said, “I am quite thrilled to be a part of the show Udann that has struck a chord with the viewers right from its inception. It’s an honor for me to take the storyline forward with Anjor’s journey. My character Anjor is a strong hearted girl with a modern outlook towards life and doesn’t believe in the concept of love. It’s quite a millennial character and I am very happy to have bagged this role. I hope the viewers enjoy my new stint in Udann.”
Gaurav Sareen further added, “Sameer’s character is quite grounded and can go to any extreme for his loved ones and this is also a similarity between me and my character. Sameer is a perfect boyfriend that every girls wants to be with. I want to do justice to my character and if I have to do anything for it, I will readily do it. I am looking forward to playing this character and hope the viewers will support me in this new venture.”
