Varun Dhawan who has so far had an uninterrupted flow of success—even his most artistic film to date October didn’t lose money—has just featured in the first flop of his career.
He is part of the bustling cast in Nawabzaade , a film promoting dancers-turned-actors Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande, which sank without a trace this week under the titanic torrent of the stunts in Mission Impossible.
Apparently the film’s co-producers T Series personally requested Varun to participate in a dance number , and he couldn’t say no.
Reveals a source, “Nawabzaade is a small film produced by choreographer-director Remo d’Souza’s wife Lizelle d’Souza in collaboration with T Series. Varun and Remo are friends. They’ve collaborated on the hit ABCD 2.Varun is doing another big dance film with Remo next year that T Series will co-produce, and he couldn’t say no to them. That’s how he landed up shaking a leg in Nawabzaade knowing it was a going to flop.”
All heart is how Varun is described among the T Series team.
