Rather than the rush to its release Dear Comrade, Telugu superstar Vijay Devarkonda’s new almost-ready-for-release film is now being pushed forward by two months.
And with good reason.
A source close to the development informs, “If Vijay wants he can still make it on time for the May-end release. But he wants to spend more time on post-production and then on a promotions so that Dear Comrade turns out to be the blockbuster that it is expected to.Plus , this is Vijay’s first in four South Indian languages Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It’s a time-taking process to get the dubbing right in all the languages.”
Significantly Vijay has been sitting on the editing, background music and all the other post-production work of Dear Comrade. It is more likely than unlikely that will direct a film soon.
