News portals are going ballistic  over  speculative reports  of Tamil Superstar Vijay Sethupathi  co-starring with Manoj Bajpai in the   third season of The Family Man.

However  a bit of probing revealed  this to be fakenews.

When I touched base with  Vijay Sethupathi  he very categorically denied being any part  of Family Man 3.

“I am  only doing Raj and DK’s  webseries with Shahid Kapoor.  I haven’t been  offered any series  or film with Manoj Bajpai  though I’d  love to work with him,” say  Vijay who is currently  busy shooting for Masterchef  in  Tamil.

As  for The Family Man season  3  , sources close to the Franchise say  there is no sign of any  script or even a  script idea.

“The  project(Season 3) is all  in the minds  of the  Franchise’s fans who are  not  only thinking  up  plots for Season 3  but even choosing   a cast for  it,” says  a source  from  the Family Man team.

• He was a below-average student during his schooling days. According to sources,  he never showed his interest in sports or extra curriculum activities. Before getting into acting, he starting his career as an accountant with a  theatre, Koothu Patrai.
• Vijay Sethupathi completed his graduation in Bachelor of Commerce from the Dhanraj Baid Jain College (an affiliate of the University of Madras) in Thoraipakam.
• He once auditioned for the role of a student in Kamal Haasan’s Nammavar.
• Besides doing some odd jobs in India, the actor had to move to Dubai to take care of his three siblings. The reason behind shifting to Dubai is he was offered four times more than what he was earning in India.
• While staying in Dubai, Vijay met a woman named Jessie and they two dated for a few months before getting married in 2003.
• After returning to India in 2003, he joined a marketing company that dealt with readymade kitchens when he saw Koothupattarai’s poster.
