‘To the Moon & Back’ Was Filmed in Canada

The latest installment in the “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” (SSD) franchise was filmed in Canada.

According to Hallmark Media, this installment was filmed back-to-back with “A Tale of Three Letters,” which premiered in 2024. The cast reunited to film both movies in Vancouver in April 2024. Hallmark Mystery posted a video celebrating their reunion.

Ever since the last movie premiered in October 2021, fans had been wanting the franchise to return and even coordinated letter-writing campaigns to try to convince Hallmark to bring their franchise back.

Martha Williams, the creator of the SSD franchise, co-wrote the last two scripts (including this one), Parade reported. Parade shared that filming began on April 8, 2024 and wrapped in mid-May, a little over a month later.

Fans had been concerned that this latest movie might not air, after Mabius was arrested in early 2025 on charges for which he’s pleaded not guilty, Us Weekly reported. Mabius is celebrating the movie’s premiere by live-tweeting with fans.
