When it comes to HGTV, not all shows are created equal… at least not in the minds of viewers.

While some shows Rock the Block in the ratings, others are more flop than fan fave.

According to Collider, citing Nielsen ratings,Home Town Takeover” has taken over more hearts and homes than any other show on the network.

In fact, season three of Erin and Ben Napier’s show is more popular than ever. Their overhaul of the small Florida town of Sebring has caught the attention of more than 1.2 million viewers.

And Erin and Ben think they know why.

In an interview with Fox News, the couple says Sebring’s appeal plays a big role. “It was built as a resort town before the coasts of Florida were really getting developed and blown up,” said Ben.

“Before the theme parks, and that is the old Florida that our grandparents went on vacation,” Erin added. “We see all their photos. I have my grandparents’ photos from going to those parts of Florida, and we want it back.”

Jenny and Dave Marrs‘ “Fixer to Fabulous” is currently HGTV’s second highest rated show.

While it captures less than a million viewers, that’s still nearly double what shows like “House Hunters” and even “Flipping 101” achieve.

In fact, the season three premiere of Tarek El Moussa’s house flipping show on April 3 struggled, bringing in just 314,500 total viewers. El Moussa gained a little ground in the April 10 episode, with 450,000 total viewers, but that’s far below levels that would qualify the show as a success.

Season Two of ‘Renovation Aloha’ Comes on Strong

Season two of “Renovation Aloha” comes in third for the network.

The series stars Oahu born-and-raised renovation duo Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama as they flip properties in the vacation destination. And season two boasts the couple’s most expensive project ever and their first flip on the Big Island of Hawaii.

But the pair are doing double duty right now on another ratings juggernaut for HGTV.

They are one of four teams competing on this season of “Rock the Block.” The show has consistently been HGTV’s highest-rated competition series. And season six is bringing some new twists to the game.

For the first time ever, the competition is pitting two teams who have competed on the show before against against rookies who are new to the block rocking game. The new season has also introduced a scoreboard that pairs up the two veteran teams and the two rookie teams, meaning if one of the pair win a challenge, the other team in the pair benefits with extra cash as well.

The homes just outside Salt Lake City, Utah also feature the biggest backyards ever seen on the show with a full acre each, desperately in need of landscaping.

HGTV is hoping all the new twists and turns (including blind judging where judges don’t know whose house they’re looking at) will bring even more viewers to the table each Monday.

‘Married to Real Estate’ Is Struggling to Find Its Audience

Meanwhile, “Married to Real Estate” is struggling to find its audience. The show currently ranks as HGTV’s sixth most popular show.

Nielsen lists the show as attracting just 522,000 viewers, significantly less than “My Lottery Dream Home’s” 741,000 viewers and even OG series “House Hunters,” which attracts about 590,000.
